Sveti Vid is a smaller village in the middle of Vidovska planota, plateau which is situated between Menišija and the upper course of the valley of river Iška. In the middle of the village, there is a fire station and church of St. Vid and few residential houses. From Sveti Vid a beautiful view opens up on hills of Notranjska, and in good weather, we can nicely see also Snežnik.
