Common Toad (Bufo bufo)

Usual toad which lives on land (meadows, forests and fields) grows up to 13cm, males a little less. Toad lives in water only as a tadpole and in time when it lays of eggs. Eggs are attached to strips which can contain up to 6000 eggs. Usual toad is bright to dark brown and has a warty skin on the upper side. It eats insects, snails and earthworms. We can notice it on region from lowland till forest edge.
