Mustela erminea

The stoat or ermine is an animal up to 30cm in size, observed in areas rich in cover. It is recognized by its white-brown color with a black tail tip. In winter it is entirely white, except for the tail. It feeds on mice, small mammals and smaller birds. The female gives birth to 3-7 blind young in the spring months.
