Alpine and Velebit lady's mantle are very similar. I don't know if alpine grows with us. Will have to check the literature.

The alpine lady's mantle is a border plant and can also grow with us. With us also grows the species Alchemilla conjuncta - I haven't found a Slovenian name. It has barely perceptible silveriness on the leaf tips, while in the Velebit lady's mantle it is clearly visible.

Lady's mantles are a very difficult genus with 30 representatives in our area, but even these can hybridize with each other, complicating identification.
The Velebit lady's mantle is one of the few that cannot be confused with any other in our area, as it has leaves divided almost to the base and a silver-hairy underside, visible even on the edges. The alpine one does not grow in our area - this will hold as long as no one finds it and proves it different from the Velebit one. However, the claim that it can grow here as a "borderline" flower does not hold, since e.g. in Austria the rocks it grows on are completely different from ours.
Therefore, if the upper photo was taken in our area, it certainly is not Alchemilla alpina, but if somewhere in the central Alps, then it certainly is.

Velkavrh, where does the information come from that A. conjuncta grows in our area too? The latest edition of Mala flora S. lists 30 lady's mantle species, but conjuncta is not among them, so it has no Slovenian name either.

I found data on lady's-mantles in the Flora Alpina handbook. There it is precisely explained what a border flower is and what an unconfirmed flower is in the specified Alpine area (explanations are in German - I master them). I will check the handbook again.
