Anisodont Gentianella (Gentianella anisodonta)
Description:
Gentianella anisodonta is a plant that grows 10 to 30 cm tall. On the plant, observed from May to September, several purple flowers with five petals grow. In Slovenia it can be found in the Julian Alps, Karawanks, Kamnik-Savinja Alps, Porezen, Trnovo Plateau and Posavje-Zasavje hills.

I have already expounded on these gentians. Only few distinguish them from each other - I am not among them.

At the cup gentianella we find three subspecies in our country - according to Mala flora Slovenije: -G.a. subsp.anisodonta - this is the typical autumn subspecies -G.a. subsp.antecedens - this is the typical montane subspecies -G.a.subsp.calycina - this is the typical monomorphic subalpine high-montane subspecies
