Braun's Cinquefoil (Potentilla brauneana)
Description:
It is an alpine plant, only up to 5 cm tall. It has small leaflets, 1-1.5 cm long, sparsely hairy on the underside and along the margin, ternate. The stem rarely has more than one flower. The petals are mostly longer than the sepals.
On high-mountain meadows and in snow hollows it flowers in mid-summer, shortly after the snow melts.
It is present from the Pyrenees to the Eastern Alps and Karawanks.
