Clusius' Gentian (Gentiana clusii)
Description:
Trumpet Gentian (Gentiana clusii) is a blue-coloured plant up to 10 cm high. The plant has a very large flower in the centre of which we can see the floral core in the shape of a candle that we blow out on cakes. The flower is surrounded by small green sepals, which are almost unnoticeable due to the size of the flower. It can be observed from May to August mainly on calcareous soils.
