Based on what do you conclude that it is Gagea fragifera? Slovenian botanical literature does not cover it, so it also has no Slovenian name. In the SLO Alpine world, G. lutea thrives. In SLO, you can also find G. arvensis, G. minima, G. pratensis, G. pusilla and G. spathacea.

It is known elsewhere in the Alps under the names Röhriger Gelbstern, Alpen-Gelbstern, Gagée fistuleuse and Gagea fistulosa

I have borrowed the Flora Alpina and it lists Gagea fragifera as a border flower, so it could be found in our area as well.

The photo is too poor to determine exactly, because the leaves and flower decide the species.

Interestingly, it does not mention the species arvensis, pusila, spathacea at all. But it must be known that dog's garlics thrive throughout Slovenia and are not covered in this handbook.

The handbook only mentions the hairy dog's garlic - Gagea villosa.

The image shows yellow dog's onion (Gagea lutea), which grows from lowlands to the montane belt. The species Gagea fragifera (this is a valid Latin name) grows high in the Alps and somewhat resembles hairy dog's onion (G. arvensis).
I encountered the species G. fragifera in NW Italy, in Gran Paradiso National Park, at 2500 m. I identified it using the official list of plants growing there, as no other species of these onions occur there.

Books on alpine plants logically do not include lowland plants like yellow dog's onion.

More on names: G. fistulosa, G. fragifera and G. liotardii are synonyms. More can be found on the page https://www.gbif.org/species/5300170
