Description:
Catalonian Houseleek is a low-growing plant most commonly observed in rock crevices in most parts of Slovenia. Catalonian Houseleek, which blooms from late spring to summer, is also a medicinal plant. The squeezed juice of the plant helps with burns, insect stings, wounds, warts, and cleaning the ear canal. The plant is recognized by its purple flower on which a larger number of petals grow.

The first three pictures (flowering houseleeks from abroad) are not common but mountain houseleeks - Sempervivum montanum.
