Lesser Celandine (Ranunculus ficaria)
Description:
The spring lesser celandine, recognized by its shiny golden-yellow petal color, grows 5 to 15 cm tall. It can be observed from March to April, somewhat higher also into early May, mainly in moist areas of deciduous forests. The spring lesser celandine, related to the buttercup, is slightly poisonous.

The correct Slovenian name for it is lopatičasta zlatica or navadna lopatica.
