Orange Hawkweed (Hieracium aurantiacum)
Description:
Orange hawkweed is a herbaceous perennial that can be observed from June to August. In Slovenia it is rare and can be observed only in part of the eastern Karawanks, on Pohorje and occasionally in Trnovski gozd. It is more common in Austria, where it can be observed up to 1700 m. Orange hawkweed is recognized by the orange-coloured flower that grows on a plant up to 40 cm tall.
