Shiny cinquefoil (Potentilla nitida)
Description:
Potentilla nitida belongs to the rose family, flowers from June to August. It belongs among the cinquefoils and is the only cinquefoil with this flower color. It is adorned by a strong pink-red color. It is a cushion perennial, in many places in the Julian Alps, sometimes also in the Karawanks and Kamnik-Savinja Alps, colors screes and rocky grasslands red. Leaves are palmately divided into three leaflets. The plant is prostrate and cushion-sprawling.
