White Crocus (Crocus vernus subsp. albiflorus)
Description:
The white crocus, which is very similar to the spring crocus, grows in March and April, in some mountains even into May. The white crocus, whose name already indicates it is white, has stamens longer than the stigma (the spring crocus the opposite). The white crocus has no stem and grows up to 15 cm tall (usually around 10 cm).

The Latin name is missing the subspecies designation: Crocus vernus subsp. albiflorus.
