Winter Aconite (Eranthis hyemalis)
Description:
Winter aconite is a plant up to 20 cm tall, which in Slovenia is observed only on the slopes of Bohor. The plant, which has yellow petals, starts sprouting a few days after the snow melts or even earlier.

Common winter aconite can also be seen in the Ljubljana Basin.
