Description:
Wild pink (Dianthus sylvestris) belongs to the pink family, flowers from June to September, grows from 10 to 50 cm tall. Our most common mountain pink of the subalpine and alpine zones. It grows throughout the area of our mountains on dry and rocky soils poor in nutrients, on rocky lawns, scree. Found up to 2800 m. The plant has cushion growth, one flower per stem. Flowers are red to violet in color.
