For the first May holidays we are going with the family to Austrian Styria to the Barenschutzklamm waterfalls gorge. One of the longest gorges in Austria and the most beautiful. Trail start in Mixnitz and through the gorge to the hut Gasthaus zum Guten Hirten and back circular to the starting point. I recommend to all hikers nasmeh

Can you write more about this (path length, entrance fees, starting point, what else is especially worth seeing, parking...) otherwise I googled, but German is a bit weak, and I rely on first-hand info. Looks wonderful, for a day trip, and not far from us either.

marinka trail length is 9.5 Km and takes 3.5-4.5 hours depending on walking pace and individual. Entrance fee for adults 3.5 EUR and for children 6-15 years 2.6 EUR. Starting point MIXNITZ. By car from LJ,CE,MB,G. and destination Mixnitz 234 Km driving time 3.5 hours and also Austrian vignette for 8.7 Eur ten-day without tunnels because there are none on this trail. And footwear mountain boots because the path is wet in some places

We also checked out the mentioned gorge today and continued the trail to the top of Hochlantsch 1722m and did 16 km and spent about 9 hours with breaks and longer rest at the top.
