This morning already the second time this week in these parts. I chose a hill or rather ridge that caught my eye on Tuesday at Hexenturm. Already in the dusk, before 6 o'clock, I park at Ardning Alm hut (1037m). Parking is free and in shade in the morning.
To the hill from the right side, along the ridge from the saddle. Along Bosruck NE - ridge “Wildfrauensteig”. The ridge is quite exposed and mostly well secured. Before the ladders I check the cave under the ridge. First summit in the ridge is Frauenmauer (1845m). From there half an hour more to Bosruck summit. Altogether 3 hours from the hut. Marked a bit more.
The summit is a very good viewpoint. The ridge itself one of the nicer ones I've hiked. If not secured, a real treat. From the top continued along the ridge to Kitzstein (1925m). All three summits have crosses, Bosruck the biggest.
From Kitzstein descended straight down the path on steep grassy slope. Below along Igelsfeldalm pasture on the road back to the hut.
Nice ridge, easy Sunday tour in wonderful surroundings.
