Greifenberg and the lakes around it

Greifenberg, 2,618 m, is a peak in the vicinity of Schladming, probably in the Schladminger Tauern group. Approach from both sides, Golinghütte or Preintalerhütte, is easy, and the most sensible is a traverse from one alpine hut to the other, so overnight in one hut (60 EUR half-board, where the price depends on what you choose from the dinner menu, 5 starters, 7 or 8 main courses, two of which vegetarian and 4 desserts; beer or wine is already included in the price , breakfast is the same every day with a fixed price).
The main attraction of the tour is the multitude of lakes and not just any lakes: they are really fascinating or in the local dialect unheimlich schön And there aren't just a few, or seven, but more than ten.
Despite lying at altitudes between 2,000 and 2,400, it was still possible to swim at the beginning of September.
For the full experience, you have to go off the beaten paths, i.e. off the marked trail and explore a bit on pathless terrain. LocusMap with offline map helps, because there's no signal there, as befits an 'außerweltliche Landschaft'...
