From Nikolsdorf -641m via Zabratsteig to Hochstadelhaus and to the summit 6 hours. Weather and views very nice.
Return with a short detour to Rudnigkofel-2283m to the hut with friendly offer, which is a real panoramic balcony over the Drava valley, then to the village Pirkach.-636m, another 6 hours with all stops. Total 12 hours and 2100m elevation.

This nice mountain deserves a few words, even though a week has passed since my ascent. Up from U. Pirkach via Hochstadelhaus hut. The warden, Austrian by birth, surprises with lots of Slovenian words (studied in Bled). Atmosphere in the hut pleasant. Next day continuation around the mountain on Dreitörlweg path and ascent from the west somewhat more demanding but well-equipped side (many new cables). Southern panorama from summit hidden in mists, northern with very good views. Return via Rudnigweg to hut and down to valley.
