Yesterday Vinko and I enjoyed the whiteness in the mountains above Planneralm. From the parking lot in the highest Styrian ski village we first climbed to Karlspitze, then along the ridge to Schreinl. There followed a descent to Goldbachsee lake. Skins on skis again and up to Goldbachscharte, from where we also climbed to Jochspitze. I left the skis a couple dozen meters below the summit because there were already bare rocks there. From the top just descent to the village. Parking is more expensive here due to ski resorts, 12 euros daily. Only for ski tourers, free with ski pass. Summits are extremely panoramic. All around snow-covered mountains. Quite a few also known and already traversed.
