Hochkönig via ferrata Königsjodler
Erich Hutte – Königsjodler – Hoher Kopf – Hochkönig – Arthurhaus

Last weekend tasted the "devil's horns". On the via ferrata three anchors were pulled out. Due to its length and difficulty, via ferrata mileage and good fitness are needed. First day just right moderate temperatures for climbing the ridge and wire bridges with ever better views, second day easy return to the valley among glacial lakes nasmeh

Also aerial presentation:

It immediately becomes quite airy9

Single-wire Flying Fox. Since no double pulley with rope was available, a steel thimble with nut is an option14
Whoever has no desire for such a ride, can descend along the secured path into the notch and climb up the second tower15
One of the extracted pegs16
The ridge narrows17
Barely space for shoes, to the left and right much air18
Emergency exit, about halfway we can leave the ferrata19
Gentler but very crumbly section, suitable for a snack20
The re-entry into the wall begins with...21
...Francl's fantasy...22
...which is very vertical23

That day a rescue was also taking place, so the via ferrata is not to be underestimated25

At the top of the via ferrata, Hoher Kopf (2875m), a view opens to the glacial lakes and the hut on Hochkönig28

Yesterday my colleague and I visited the Königsjodler via ferrata on the mountain Hochkönig. It's definitely the most beautiful and most attractive via ferrata in the Northern Limestone Alps.

The via ferrata is beautiful, technically nothing special though. The return past the Arturhaus hut was nice and especially long.
