Leobner (2036m)

Not every tour gets sun rays. We noted that on Friday when we started the hike at the nicely arranged parking lot opposite the Gscheidegger farm above Johnsbach (6 euros per day).
Via Zeiringeralm and Grössingeralm we climbed to the Leobner Törl saddle. From there through partly vegetated cirque with numerous small lakes (about 10 I counted roughly), to the ridge and along it to the top. Most of the snow has gone and sadly the blueberries have been destroyed too.
We returned along the ridge to Haberltörl and from there along an unmarked trail via Moseralm back to Grössingeralm and then by road to the car. That unmarked trail is hard to follow in places. It crosses the whole slope, partly vegetated, partly over blueberry flats and pastures above Moseralm.
The road to the alps is being renovated and fully covered with material.
Since the views were not the best, the tour will need to be repeated in winter.
