Starting point is the Weissmieshütte hut above the village of Saas-Grund. The path first leads along a well-trodden trail towards Hohsaas, then turns onto the glacier moraine. Below the foot of the mountain, we cross the glacier, which is crack-free up to the entrance to the west ridge. We continue along the dry ridge towards the summit, without special difficulties (exception is one short "slab" spot, difficulty up to II). The ridge steepens, we encounter snow, or ice. Winter gear is needed and forming a rope team. Along the well-trodden snow/ice track we reach the very airy summit, where there's space for only a few people. Views excellent!!

Beautiful tours and nice pictures with descriptions....It really brings to life the beauties of the mountains
