Wowww, nicely written and lived...three weeks ago I was at Mont Blanc and in ideal weather watched peaks and valleys around...now reliving it

Nice report and even nicer photos. 
I recalled memories from about 17 years ago when I also visited these places (and I wasn't hiking mountains yet) and visited roughly the same attractions, more or less. And how the sun burned my face due to inexperience and unaccustomed skin, because I didn't put on sunscreen, so I couldn't sleep and felt it for a few more days... 
Otherwise nice memories.
Gasoline in Italy you can get for 1.3 and some, just have to go down from the highway. And mandatory on the line where you pump yourself, otherwise it's more expensive. I don't know if Italians don't know how to pump because everyone rushes to the line where the clown pumps for you. At night almost all pumps are on automatic.
Beer in countries where it exists only to rip off tourists and shamelessly cheat you (e.g. Italy, France), buy in stores, where it's much cheaper and greater selection, even special beers, craft beers and such. In the car have a stock for cases when after returning from the tour they are already closed. In other countries, with more moderate prices, I gladly go to a pub here and there, already for the atmosphere.
