From Slatinski Drenovac to Pl. hut Jankovac is about 5 km, the road will soon get an asphalt coating.
I drive a bit further from the turnoff to the mountain hut, to the intersection where the road branches off to the right to the highest Papuk peak, with a sign that the road ahead is only for the Croatian army. From there first along the road, then the path to Ivačka glava turns left into the forest. On the top I enjoyed the evening sun with a view to the highest Papuk peak, where the radar station is in the domain of the Croatian army. From the top I descend directly to the road and go by road to the starting point.
Overnight at Pl. hut Jankovac, the area around Jankovac lake is nicely arranged, sleeping with mountain card about 10 €, goulash 5 €. An educational trail runs around the hut.
Next day I head to Češljakovački vis peak, continue to Lapjak peak and back to Jankovac, the whole loop took 5 hours. All paths well marked, path mostly in forest shade.
I continue driving to Voćin, from there by gravel road toward Daruvar, after about 10 km the road crosses the Slavonian mountain trail. Left goes path to Ljutoč, I go right to Crni vrh. First a bit on road, then be very careful at the turnoff before the barrier right into the forest, as the path is very overgrown. Path to the ridge top is very steep, marks lead you up more than any path. On top shelter, lizards for company .
For the end of the wandering in Slavonia from Daruvar I drive to Pl. hut Petrov vrh and go to the top. In the logbox at the hut besides the stamp there were also car keys and hut keys .
