Four-day hop to Dalmatia in October fits right in, especially in good company and nice weather. First day we stopped on the way in the village of Smiljan near Gospić and saw Nikola Tesla museum. Stayed in beautiful hotel Pinija in Petrčane. Nice complex with indoor and outdoor pool, great view towards Ugljan. Also golf next to it, walk to the little town, pines, food in hotel excellent. Second day we drove to Vir. Heard that the islet was beautiful, sadly now southern part very built up, so some no longer recognize it. First time on Vir, interesting hike in northern part for me, view on Pag, Velebit. When returning, we also looked at little church of St. Nicholas. Third day we had tour of Krka waterfalls, water was just the right amount, really beautiful. To Skradin by boat, also climbed to Skradin viewpoint. Evening also klapa Intrade concert, for Dalmatian music lovers, unforgettable. And for goodbye, Zadar tour, sights, organs with interesting explanation by lady guide, and then towards Vrana Lake for wine tasting in Karaga cellar. Thanks to guide Uroš we walked quite a bit and saw a lot, everything organized excellently...grateful team.

Is this title just right for our three-day jaunt around Zadar and surroundings with a touch of snow, bura, sea and sun.jezik
The last part of AC was closed, but that didn't bother us, as the plan to Zadar was via Obrovac and Karin, where bura rocked us in the car like mother's hand rocks baby in cradle.nasmeh
After short look at Obrovac we turned in Karin for canyon of Bijela river view, which is worth a visit.
Second day we enjoyed along coast to Zadar and in town, where lots of historical sights. Seagulls nicely sang sea melody, sun greeting in evening shone in different colors, when lights also shone in town and festive music sang.
On the way home we turned to Petrčane and Zaton, saw historical town Nin, then little hop to island Vir and at end stopped also at mountaineering friends in Vinjerac.mežikanje
Three nice days, really pleasantly warm, when you can watch whiteness of Velebit from sea surface.nasmeh
