In Nova Gradiška I turn towards Cernik and continue through Šumetlica to Strmac, continue past the hospital on a gravel road to the top. The ascent is best done on the road, as it is the safest, given the fact that this is a mine area .

All foot approaches to Brezovo polje from Strmac are completely safe and there are no mines (there weren't any either). Mines are north and west of Brezovo polje and in the crnogorična forest directly before the road junction where one road branch leads to the transmitter, and the other past the brick tower with control point.
