After the holiday we set off on Sunday from Ramić dvorov along a nice path through Great Paklenica. The path is almost entirely stone-paved, which is not exactly comfortable for walking. At the edge of the stream a clear stream. There are also troughs with water several times, where we can refresh ourselves. When we reach the clearing, Paklenica widens from both sides; on steep, solid rocks there are firmly equipped climbing areas, where young and old climb. Alpine climbing is also done - beautifully.

End of June on the way to the sea we stopped in Paklenica. It was pleasant, not too hot at all, just quite strong bora was raging. We climbed a very nice and airy route Prijatelju moj (3+, 80 m, svedrovci) in Ovčji kuk. We also climbed easy short routes in Klanci, which were more crowded unlike longer routes, and there were plenty of tourists of all nationalities in the canyon.

We visited Paklenica also in April (by the way, it was much warmer, quite hot compared to end of June). Then from longer routes suitable for svedrovci we climbed interesting hilly (just miniature) ridge Oliver Dragojević (III/I-II, 150 m) in Veliki Vitrenik and nice traverses of Northern ridge in Veliki Ćuk (it's bolted; 2-3, 130 m).

Very easily accessible peak VELIKI VITRENIK 433M from Stari grad Paklenica and very nice view of the sea and the rest of Velebit range
