Vis - Milna - Hum - Komiža /circular bike tour

Vis is a relatively small island, you can ride it several times a day by bike, roads are surprisingly nice, wide and well laid out, of course no traffic jams on the island. Island has quite a few nice climbs and also a decent hill - 587m high Hum, rising above Komiža.
Cycling can start anywhere, as all major towns are somehow circularly connected, most usual in one of the two larger towns, either from Vis or Komiža, depending where you're stationed or tied to transfer or ferry to/from island.
Ascent to Hum starts from Podšpilja settlement and goes past Borovik and Titova špilja cave to the saddle, where on one side is Hum with military radar on top, on the other peak opposite is TK transmitter, from which nice viewpoint to Komiža.
Biggest climb - around 15% road has right below Titova Špilja and then one more bend under saddle, ascent suitable for both mountain and road bikes, except short macadam part under transmitter, where path has quite concrete "ball bearings".

Vis, island of beautiful beaches, JNA facilities and Hum, point of Croatian mountain circuit, which was the reason we spent few days of our sea vacation in beautiful Komiža.
We were there the first time, but not the last, as we will surely return, because there's more to see and experience ... jezik
