Hi!
Has anyone hiked through Catinaccio from Campedie to Passo Principe hut or at least to Vajolet hut?
I'm interested in what the path is like, because I'll have to carry the little one in a backpack?

Now - what the current conditions are, I couldn't tell you, but in general it's almost like a carriage road. If that tells you anything, Vajolet hut is supplied by jeeps. Further to Passo Principe hut it's a bit narrower and steeper, but still - wide, nice, comfortable path where you shouldn't have any problems. The only thing that comes to mind is that there might still be some snow on the very last climb before Passo Principe hut. Best to call up there and ask. Otherwise I think it's a pretty good choice for hikes with a kid in the backpack.
