The cross on some peak that was still unknown to us back then tempted us during the April ascent to Monte Talm, end of May we were wandering around there again, but because of fog and unannounced rain we didn't go any higher that day. This time we drive again up the steep road from Rigolato to Pian di Vas where we park, then to the Chiampizzulon hut, which to our surprise is closed. Nevertheless a short stop, then onwards or rather downhill on path 228 to Talm saddle. On the already known saddle we immediately find the little path (marked with red dots), which goes west and mostly follows the ridge, initially still wooded, then scree, bushes and finally just grasses that are locally quite steep and exposed. The marks end just below the summit, which is also clearly written on the rock, somewhat unusual because we see it for the first time. Of course we reach the summit without marks without trouble, just it's blowing impudently up there, so we hide in shelter on the south side. Snack, views to familiar mountains, some snowflakes, then return by the ascent route. Well down we went a bit around, of course for a reason, and meanwhile they opened the hut.
