Nice greetings. I'm interested, what is the snow situation like in the Dolomites right now? Also, for this Cinque Torri, how do the huts Nuvolau, Averau, Scoiattoli and Rifugio Cinque Torri follow one another? Is it worth starting from Falzarego and how do they follow after that? Thanks for the answers.

We were there three weeks ago. There was still some snow then, but it's probably mostly melted by now, and even then the path could be hiked without issues without winter gear (except Averau, where the via ferrata goes on the north side). Otherwise they had more snow in the Dolomites than here (e.g. at nearby Passo Giau total 12.5 meters), and it caused them quite some trouble, but melts faster for that reason.

I'm wondering if the path from Passo Giau to Cinque Torri past huts Nuvolau and Averau is passable with a stroller? When I look at Google Earth pics there are actually gravel paths around and between these huts. Otherwise we go with backpack, but for the little one it would probably be much more comfortable in the stroller... The stroller is a bit more "wild" with bigger wheels. Thanks for answers, Robi

Between Cinque Torri and Averau there is really an almost gravel road and the stroller could be pushed. From Averau to Nuvolau, although the path is a bit wider, it's quite rocky and also steep so definitely not for stroller. From what I saw from the top of Nuvolau, there is no such path from Passo Giau to do it with stroller directly to the top of Nuvolau. If you mean the mountain summit then backpack. Otherwise that area is pure enjoyment!
