Climbing the verticals of the neighboring Dolomites

Due to lack of time and the ever-worsening rock in Slovenian mountains, I was particularly looking forward to the Dolomites this time. I really like the rock, solid holds, steepness and exposure (even of easier routes) and of course - short approaches. There are routes in abundance and when on one of the trips last weekend I stared at the mountains, I quickly concluded that one lifetime is too little to properly tackle all the routes in the walls above just one single pass, let alone on a broader scale!
