On Tabacco map 013: from Tolmezzo left over the bridge towards Verzegnis and Sella Chianzutan saddle, further on and just before the Pozzis settlement right on a narrow asphalt road to Stavoli Piè della Valle, parking across the stream and on forest road path 826 further to junction at 1,050 m, here left always on forest road and across stream Rio Vallon and soon after we turn right into the forest on a poorly marked but visible path (December 2015) - drawn in black on the map - and follow over Casera Cueston (ruined) to saddle Forchia Bassa at 1,335 m, here turn right and quite steeply up first in the forest then on steep grass to the ridge traverse Cuesta Spiolet to Monte Sciara, there follow path 830 (a bit off the path nice view of the lower valley in Tramonti di Sopra) to Ricovero Casera Teglara and on forest road "sentiero Ursula Nagel" path 826 easily back to the parking.
