I'm wondering if anyone has been to Marmolada. There are two descriptions of route 606 on the site, but I'm interested if anyone has gone around - up the eternal ferrata over Punta Serauta (currently supposed to be closed), then to the summit (by cable car?) and down route 606.
I'm especially interested in the section from Forcella Serauta to Punta Rocca - can you go along/by the ridge or do you have to cross the glacier all the way or take the cable car? From there to the summit I know there are no more issues.
For the crossing from Rocca to Penia it also looks like you have to go back and loop around the glacier.
