The remote area between Tilmenta valley in the north and Meduna valley in the south is large, solitary, wild, accesses are long, practically no staffed huts, that's how the southern Carnic Prealps are.
Closest access is from the Tolmezzo - Mauria pass (Priuso) road, specifically on the road to Rest pass. Just below the pass, a forest road turns right. After 5 km, when the road starts descending, path 377 turns left, the start is currently unmarked and has to be found, but the continuation is more or less level with occasional views north where Monte Tinisa stands out and a bit further west Monte Bivera and Clap Savon.
Soon we're at Mugnol saddle (1552), follows a 300m descent to Viellie valley and up to the head of the valley where bivouac Cjampis stands on the former same-named pasture. After a short stop, we go right behind the bivouac on the marked path which higher turns into marked pathless terrain, lots of "greenery" everywhere, ending at some col almost under the summit which is still foggy on our arrival but thins later.
After short descent on NW side of the mountain we turn left onto marked path 392, which soon brings us to a clogged gully, descent through it quite unpleasant but luckily short. Follows short ascent to green col, then down to bivouac. Then again those 300m to Mugnol saddle, this time up and later much more pleasant trail to the road.
