Monte Lupo and San Daniele del Monte

Excellent viewpoints above the village (and lake) Barcis. We started in front of the foresters' building (Corpo Forestale) and went to the hamlet Predaia by road, there we stepped onto the footpath. A very steep path brought us to the ridge, along which we reached the indistinct summit of Monte Lupo. Soon after it we descended to the saddle Vallata and from there climbed to San Daniele del Monte. Once a little church stood here, now only some small ruins are visible. The descent took place from the saddle Vallata along another path, which brought us to the hamlet Roppe, from there we had only a few minutes to the starting point. A very pleasant trip, I recommend
