Easiest access from Cedarchis towards Paularo to Valle-Rivalpo. Also possible from hamlet Trelli in same valley (unmarked path) or from Ligolosulla exit at Paluzzi. Ascent description from Rivalpo past St. Martino church and another km to road closure continuing to Valmedan pastures. From lower Valmedan pasture also marked path 409, which crosses asphalted mountain road closed to public traffic several times. At upper Valmedan pasture road ends, continues well-preserved mule track along southern slopes. At height around 1800 m paths split, left down to bivouac Valuta, right path to Tersadia summit. Total less than 3 hours ascent. Extremely panoramic summit has some WWI remains. Descent done by ascent path.

Saturday, 5.10.2019 Starting point at saddle Forcella Lius, reachable from Paularo or Ligosulla, from where we came too. Can park 20 min walk higher but little space and hard to turn if occupied. To some 200m below summit path through forest, not much views till then but richly rewarded later on ascent. Tersadia position offers great panoramas all around, one sits and gazes. Though often alone on paths as forgotten, surprised today hill was ours alone all day, met no one. Men preparing wood at start excepted. Weather gorgeous almost to end, perfect for peaks. Almost to end, then poured as we drove home. Path pleasant in summer heat as high under summit in forest shade. For winter better from Rivalpo, plan to ski it when enough snow. Recommended trip, really nice https://tubojan.blogspot.com/2019/10/monte-tersadia.html

Valley trip in northern Italy had to be spiced with mountain hike and finger wandering on map blindly picked Monte Tersadia promising not too steep ascent. Started from saddle Luis and ... back enchanted. Returned same way though regretted not taking extra hours to circle mule track bend other side and/or lower peaks same massif approx. west of Tersadia summit. Super tour reminds one of Karavanke, long forest part tedious for some, not me.
