@felix ... I have quite a few, you can check my profile. The problem with descriptions is that as author I can't update path status after changes on the route. This is usually followed by comments that the entry is not accurate.

I almost never list timetables, because every hiker is of their own sort. Runners will whine about loose ones, slower ones about padded ones velik nasmeh. So I always note lengths and ascents, for ferratas also difficulty, let each assess their own abilities nasmeh.

bagi, you made me laugh with your last paragraph. It's true what you write. I used to subtract prescribed timetables, now I have to add them, and sometimes I feel I wasn't walking slowlynasmehnasmeh.

Yes, Ločanka, that's true, sometimes we beat official times, now I'm happy if I reach the goal in official time.

Bravo you two. Nice ascent, descent via scree is also unforgettable.

Just before the Olympics started I went faster, stronger, higher mežikanje Well, not exactly, more "it's about participating, not winning" eek

I started at such a time that I was at the Rifugio Forcella Pordoi hut before the gondola began running. Accordingly quite alone up to there. Lively at the hut, some groups, mostly English speakers, quite dense fog there too, which then followed me high under the summit. Quite some snow patches up there, no obstacle, not even in the morning when the snow was quite hard. Could go around the side too, of course. Reached the summit together with the sun cool A bit of viewing around, not far due to the fog, towards the hut and upper gondola station a bit higher it was visible, a queue was already forming there. Cake and coffee went down well, the little martini too, then headed back down. Soon met first groups, then more and more of them, to the hut surely a couple of busloads of people. At first still some ciao, salve, gruß gott and the like, then we were just nodding and waving in greeting. Further down to the pass again quite alone, Marmolada with glacier in plain view, only a marmot was missing to wrap my chocolate velik nasmeh Bustle below, as expected, then delighted a younger couple when I told them they could park for free on my spot since I was leaving, shortly after I was already home on the balcony with good food and drink. Perfect and pleasant, it's a sin to wish for more nasmeh

Starting point Passo Pordoi up ferrata Cesare Piazzetta past Pordoi hut back via scree. First 20 min really requires arm strength, as you literally pull yourself up on the cables and it's not easy.nasmeh

@MANGRT .... congrats for Piazzetta nasmeh. For me it's still the hardest ferrata in the Dolomites so far, although some of similar renown have occurred after it.

Winter is very stingy with snow even above 3000m.
Start at Passo Pordoi, carry skis to the top, ski down the left side, then back to the top. Descent down the left gully and then to the right to the marked path, where I carry skis again to the hut, there on scree I search for snow patches all the way to the starting point.
Nice sunny day with fog in the valley and very very low temperatures below the summit.
Well let's start t1
