Hi, Yesterday when it was raining here we headed to neighboring Italy - Dolomites, my long-time wish. After countless hairpin turns we finally arrived at Passo Pordoi. Hike to the top in sunshine, not many people yet. To the top without problems. At the top magnificent views, only towards Slo where it was raining. Wonderful view of the almost neighboring Marmolada, which was only my goal. After the return also drive to the lake below Marmolada and followed solo ascent to the top. After 2.5h ascent, mix of ice and snow, big holes in the glacier, I finished the ascent at the top. In between a bit of snow storm, but right after sun. At the top gale-force wind, so I had to tie backpack so it wouldn't blow away Was alone at the top, admittedly late around 17h, quick descent and just before 19h drive back through long turns and numerous passes. Tour is wonderful, views fantastic, ambience phenomenal. Whoever hasn't been there must go obligatorily. I'll return there..... Best Grega

Beautiful pictures. Too bad there's no description - for those of us who haven't been there yet.
