The forecast for early afternoon thunderstorms prompted the choice of target for the final tour on Saturday. We started a little below the Staulanza Pass and via the path in sparse forest reached the Cita di Fiume hut in 3/4 h Well, further on too, contrary to the map, there is a road (partly still under construction) to Prendera pasture, where the trail to the pass between Croda da Lago and Becco di Mezzodì starts, from which there is a nice view of the Cortina valley. Our further path is nicely visible in a gentle descent to the small lake and the hut by it. Wide views, extensive grassy undulating slopes—this is the characteristic of this lesser-known area. Unfortunately, there was no time for a circular tour; light rain already caught us right at the end.
