Saint Michael's Peak

I'd like to describe a short hike to this hill of the Gorizia Karst, where there's a WWI museum. It's very visited at all times of year (especially spring and autumn). I was born right below the peak (village Vrh), so I know several possible paths (also circular).

Do you perhaps know why Monte San Michele is called Debela Griža in Slovenian?
