Even nicer than the Padua surroundings, and it was already nice there. Parked in Lancenigo at the train station, free of course, from where I had only a few minutes to Treviso. There I took the bike-walking path and in the next fifty kilometers and a bit saw and experienced many beautiful things. The Sile river basin is a regional park, lots of interesting things in it: https://www.parcosile.it/Eindex.php Interesting is the town district Casier, where they once produced cheese, due to old buildings and wonderful church, and the boat cemetery Cimitero dei Burci, remains of boats typical for these parts, which once served commercial purposes. La Restera was also a very nice wandering area, that's the path above the Sile river, where with horses and oxen they once pulled loaded ships that arrived from the Venetian lagoon to Treviso and further. Returned to the car on local roads and thus nicely rounded a great trip. Wonderful https://tubojan.blogspot.com/2023/11/vista-di-casier-da-fiume-sile.html
