This is the Friulian gentian trail, and it's most recommended in June. Well, we went on Sunday; we started a bit below the parking for R Giaf, there we turned left onto 361 and then nicely up to 2000m - that's the first saddle - Urtisiel. The trail starts descending left there to 1770m where Casera Valbinon lies; they have pasta and minestrone, no electricity and no internet, he quickly told us; well, he brewed coffee for us. From here the path slowly ascends through the meadows of the Campuros plateau from where it climbs to the main saddle - Brica. A descent of about 100m follows and then an ascent to saddle Inferno 2175m, which is the highest point of today's tour. A slight descent to saddle Fantulina, where there's a junction; left the path 369a descends towards the hut Flaiban-Pacherini, we decided on the traverse to saddle Mus. There is another option for descent left down to the hut, straight ahead access to ferrata Cassiopea, right the trail to valley Val di Guerra and further towards hut Pordenone. A descent to the left to the hut for a beer followed and then down towards Forni. Here the beauties of the tour so far somewhat fade, as we had about a 6km long walk on the road and cross-country ski paths along the right bank of the Tagliamento to the car. If you have two cars and one under Hut Giaf, the other in Andraz, you best skip this part . Otherwise a tour up and down around with godlike views
