Since it's impossible to get a spot in the huts on weekends with nice weather, we decide for Sunday and Monday. We started the tour at the pass Passo di Monte Croce-Kreutzempass, where Kosovar, besides good morning, also gives us a ticket for parking 3 eur . Left of the chairlifts we shortened quite a bit and already before the bunkers we turn past the puddle Lago dell'Orso, where we catch path 124. On the sparsely vegetated slope we soon reach the pastures of the Biscia alpine pasture from where to the highest point of this part - former hut Olivo Sala - still 100 m up. At the junction left we descend 100 m to the hut Berti visible from afar in the middle of Vallone del Popera. The view of Cima Bagni and the jagged wall barrier right of it to Monte Popera and Elfer takes your breath away - no doubt, have to go over there. Ferrata Roghel bears mark 109 and branches off right from path 152 ca 300 m south of hut Berti. After access scree the ferrata wraps into the steep gully of Tridentine range, at least the final part to highest point is like that - slightly overhanging too. Follows descent on steep slabs straight down 200 m - low wire, like that one on V Koroška Baba. Bivak Btg Cadore invites under screes ca 100 m lower by rushing water but doesn't tempt us, since path leads slightly uphill traversing screes to entrance of ferrata C Gabriella with mark 110. This is substantially longer but also easier than the previous. View drifts into depths of Val Stalata deep under feet, east protrude into sky horns of Crode de Ligoto and Cime de Ambata and massif Cime Bagni. Here and there path bypasses some sculpture that resists law of gravity with last strength. When the ledge above deep precipices finally wraps around narrowest edge of Monte Giralba di Soto, before eyes in western direction appears known silhouette Zwölfer - Croda dei Toni and valley Val Giralba with our today's goal - hut Carducci. Would warn about very annoying descent from ferrata to valley on desperately crumbled steep gully length ca 150 m - there for help tensioned already quite worn climbing ropes
