Pics aren't exactly from yesterday... for a few weeks now polar night or at least darkness there... Current conditions: cold and dark.

Yes it would be more appropriate to post this under the reviving memories section. But since I couldn't find it I uploaded it under current conditions.

Very nice, looks a bit barren and lonely.

In 2015 Romana and I started at the "tourist" Nordkapp, walking south, we also went to Knivskjellodden, from there to the tripoint Finland, Norway, Sweden. We walked to Palojoensuu in Finland. In Norway we had nice sunny weather. Mornings and evenings were quite cold. Then we put on gloves and jackets. Several nights we slept in a tent, because in the sparsely populated area there were no accommodations. Unpleasant was walking through tunnels. Daily average walking was 40 km. Behind us 7500 km walked. From Nordkapp to Bjelovar in Croatia. The wish is to walk Europe from north to south. This year we didn't succeed due to the circumstances. You can read more under the title---- romana, janez lp.

Hats off !!! Average 40 km per day with a backpack that had at least 15 kg in my opinion. I wish you to realize your wish. In these closed corona times we revive memories a bit and make plans.
