Rysy - highest peak of Poland

Hello,

On hribi.net under the category List of mountains/Poland there is a description of the route to the highest peak of Poland, namely Rysy (2499m). Starting point: hut by the Morskie Oko lake (1410 m). Range: High Tatras.

Last week (15/6/17) I hiked the route. From the parking lot (at Lysa Polana) to the hut (Morskie Oko) it's almost 2 hours' walk on an asphalt road. Then the ascent begins...first half is not demanding (of course if there is no snow...in our case there was some, but it was doable without crampons...though some had crampons). Second half goes along a partial ridge, where a chain is installed practically all the time. The partial ridge ends below the summit...to the summit it's just a few more minutes. Route from hut to summit approx. 3-4 hours. Return the same way. Recommended.
