The Carpathians are like some big V. Its branches start in Serbia and Ukraine. That pointy end of the V is above the city Brasov. Distances from one conquered peak to the next are large. We had moves of up to 200 km. The starting point was the town Durau, near the National Park Ceahlau. Here we climbed to the peak Taoca -1904m. To the summit itself lead 400 metal quite steep steps. On the way back we also viewed the Horse waterfalls - these are the highest waterfalls in Romania.
