Today, after a foggy morning, I swapped skis for a bike.
Rode towards Sora, there to the end of Ločnica steeply over Rovtarja to Gonte under Polh. Grmada. Next, a new cut track under Mali Tošč to Kozjek farm tempted me. In between, nice chat with father Kozjek, who is 84 years old and still makes big piles for charcoal. Says trees during glaze fell as many as God gave. 50 years ago there was similar glaze break only at Tošč height. Because at this year's tree break there was a young moon (waning), as the gentleman says, wood will burn badly, because then there is more sap in trees than at full moon. Well, I told him we too at yoga have pujas only at full moons. Something to it, I think. Next I go to Kozjek, higher carry bike some less than hundred m uphill to Igal, there descent below Gontarske pl. Again short foot ascent to top and descent over northern long ridge Gontarske pl. Path from Gont.pl. to Govejka along southern slopes still not cleared of logs!. Followed nice and fast descent back to Ločnica, so I spiked the sausage like that. At Mednem already terrible black clouds gathered, wind like tornado from all sides. Tour very nice, one of the nicest in Polhograjci overall, some fitness mandatory.
Tomorrow already heading over Padsko lowland to Genoa for Sahasrara puja! No pics.
