On Friday we plan to go over Komna past Triglav Lakes to the Prehodavci Hut. What do you advise regarding the weather and difficulty of the tour?

Regarding the weather, wait for a more precise forecast.
I did this tour last year in the opposite direction. From Prehodavci (sleeping after Triglav), past Sedmeri to Komna and to the valley...
It drags a bit, especially the part from Savica to Komna... otherwise the path is easy, a real mountain walk, the part from Komna to Sedmeri also not too crowded (met only 2 hikers), so really relaxing for the soul...
It's worth taking the path...

Thanks for the info, I've been to Triglav twice already so I think there will be no problems.

On Friday, 28.8.2015, after sunrise from Dom na Komni (1520 m) I continued the path that I had started the day before at the Vogel ski slope. Description at the link: http://www.hribi.net/trenutnerazmere.asp?slo=1&gorovjeid=1&id=2075&stran=2

The first longer stop was at Koča pri Triglavskih jezerih (1685 m), where they served me very kindly. The morning path was in shade, at Dvojno jezero it was already properly hot, and I only caught some breeze for a moment over Štapce (1851 m). After the hot ascent on Mali Tičarici (2071 m) with the blowing wind I could finally breathe, and I was in no rush to go further. After a longer stop I continued walking under Velika Tičarica and Kopica to Mala Zelnarica (2320 m). After another longer stop at the top, marked as 2310 m on some maps, I descended under Velika Zelnarica (2310 m or 2320 m) to Vrata (2192 m), where the path from Dedno polje via the Za Kopico valley joins.
To Kopica the path is mostly easy, further on it becomes more demanding with every step. First over a narrow ridge, then a short steep ascent on scree toward the grassy top of M. Zelnarice. The most strenuous was the initial descent over steep scree slopes to the saddle with V. Zelnarica. With fresh marks, the easiest passages over the steepness are marked. The trouble is that everything is churned up and it is harder to find the ideal line. To M. Zelnarice the path gently but steadily gains height, which is felt more than shown on the hiking map. Then a long descent to Rjavo jezero (2006 m) and ascent to Zasavska koča na Prehodavcih (2071 m).
Until 18:00 the sun despite the height over 2000 m strongly heated, and only in the strong draught at Prehodavci while waiting for moonrise did I cool down well. For long sitting outside all warm clothes came in handy. Despite the full hut and bivouac, friendly staff and cultured hikers silently admired the sunset and shining moon peeking an hour later behind Vršaki.

The path by signs is 8-8.5 hours long. I with countless stops for photos and catching breath needed good 10 hours, with three longer stops almost 13 hours.

Next day I continued to Kanjavec (2569 m) and past Koča na Doliču (2151 m) to Trenta (600 m), where I ended my three-day hike. Description at the link: http://www.hribi.net/trenutnerazmere.asp?slo=1&gorovjeid=1&id=787
